Scholarships Awarded at NAIW Convention
Each of the CIC, CRM and CISR scholarships grants full tuition to one program conducted by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research . “The National Alliance has partnered with NAIW to award these scholarships to deserving NAIW members,” says Robert W. Weidert, CIC, business development director of The National Alliance. “The recipients are all actively involved in the insurance industry and committed to advanced education.”
CIC update scholarship recipient is Janis A. Hart, CIC, CISR, CPIW, DAE CPIA, Palomar Insurance Corp.
CIC Scholarship recipients are Tracey Colonair, Colonair Insurance Agency LLC; Janina J. Curtis, CISR, Curtis Insurance Agency Inc.; Anne Davison, CWCS, McCready Insurance Services; Carol Maurizio, AINS, AICPCU, Insurance Company of the West; Jennie L. Reed, CISR, CPIW, Morrow Insurance Agency Inc.; and Judith S. Taylor, ACSR, Long & Foster Insurance.
CRM scholarship recipients are James Klaneski, CIC, CPIA, C.V. Mason & Company Inc.; Patricia S. Mogg, Insurance Agency of MidAmerica Inc.; and Amy Michelle Stover, AAI, Berry, Bippus, Chison & Foose Inc.
CISR update scholarship recipients are Sharon L. Barger, CISR, CPIW, DAE, PIAM, Swanson Allstate Agency; Cynthia L. Carlston, CISR, CPIW, DAE, Rose City Associates LLC; and Ruby M. Haskell, CISR, CPIW, DAE.

In addition to initiating the CIC, CRM and CISR scholarships, The National Alliance says it has worked with the NAIW to encourage the promotion of the Outstanding CSR of the Year Award and promote the sale of publications by The National Alliance Research Academy.
