Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked First Trailer
Was a popular show that kids everywhere loved . Alvin was the naughty scamp, Simon, the tall intelligent bespectacled one, and Theodore who is plump and easily influenced. Yet those cute characters and show have not been exempt from getting the big reboot in Hollywood. With 2 previous reboots, the newest one called Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked will open nationwide on December 11th. You can view the trailer at the bottom of this post.The movie follows the 3 loveable brothers who are on a cruise ship and get into all sorts of trouble. But one issue does pop up that they had no control over, which is being stranded. It will use a mix of CGI and live action, much like the previous 2 did. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked was filmed in a lot of exotic places such as Cozumel, Roatan, Belize, and Costa Maya. Most parts of the movie will be aboard the Carnival Dream Cruise Ship.
I think Alvin and the Chipmunks are very cute and personable. They started out with a novelty record that highlighted the trio singing. The chipmunks have made records, been in cartoons, and made movies. So many kids have seen and heard Alvin and the Chipmunks that I would say that they are a part of Americana. I especially like the harmony of their voices when they sing together.
The Chipmunks do get into trouble but always seem to land on their feet and extricate themselves from the trouble. Despite of their troublesome antics, I do believe that the Chipmunks are a happy, appropriate, and delightful entertainment for kids. Something that we certainly need more of in this day and age. The Chipmunks have staying power that helps keep them around for different generations, sort of like Mickey Mouse. Lets hope this movie can keep them on the winning track that they have held for 40+ years.

Well, I did, and one letter poured in! A lady in Indiana wrote to tell me about the positive aspects of removing squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons and skunks via live traps. She did not tell me how you let the skunks out of the trap without being sprayed.
One of those shows, Everything, includes a live-action riff on Alvin and the Chipmunks, except the chipmunks are played by iguanas. The show gets a lot of laughs from the mostly 20-something crowd and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone texting

We owned chipmunks a few years back.They were kept in an outdoor aviary which had a wooden enclosure attached to it.This was filled with their nesting box and plenty of sawdust ,straw and old newspapers.Ours hibernated in winter(in Scotland)but if you are in the south of England the temperatures there shouldn`t get as cold and you`ll probably find them more active.
